Garrison Cup 2024
This year the annual match between Largs Thistle and Millport curling clubs for the Garrison Cup took place on Wednesday 10th January 2024 at Greenacres.
As last year, teams played a single session with two teams from each club.
Gus Wallace’s Largs team beat David Cunningham’s Millport team by 8-7. It was a see-saw game with the lead changing a few times throughout.
Meanwhile the Largs team skipped by Henry Kerr drew 7-7 against the Millport team skipped by Sandy Cunningham. On a count up, the Largs team won by 5 ends to 3.
Well done to all Largs players on retaining the Garrison Cup for the second year in a row.
Largs club President Jim Johnstone was presented with the trophy by Millport President David Cunningham.
