Points Competition

An email will be sent out to all playing members to establish who will be attending the Points competition and the Sectretary will award any handicaps prior to the start of the competiton, which will be recorded on the master sheet.  The master sheet must be updated on a regular basis by a club official so players are aware of the standings.  The winner from the previous year will start, with the Handicap winner going second.  Should neither player be available, then it will be a random draw.
Should any players end on the same number of points, the first stone of the next discipline must be played to determine a winner.  Therefore, it is very important that the club official responsible for the master sheet monitors the time.
A member allocated a handicap can win the trophly if, without adding the allocated handicap, they have the hightest score.  The Handicap Shield would then be awarded to the player with the next highest score including their handicap.  A player without a Handicap can only win the main trophy.
