Forth Valley Area Knockout 2018 Result.

Uphall v Oatridge

Both teams traded 1’s with the hammer in the first two ends then Uphall managed a nice steal of 1 in the third to go 2-1 up , however a missed take out by the Uphall skip in the fourth left Adam Keron with a hit and lie for a 2 .

The match turned in the fifth end when with Oatridge lying 1 Harry Ferguson tried a raised take out with the last stone however although it looked good for most of the way it just fell out and ended up taking out their only stone in the house to give Oatridge a 4 !

In the 6th end Oatridge were lying 2 meaning Harry had to draw the button to keep the game alive however he was just a smidge heavy and hands were shaken which meant that Oatridge took the game 9-2 which in fairness didn’t reflect the game as can sometimes be the case !
